Can I make contributions to PGC from my IRA?

YES, PGC is a 501(c)3 educational organization and therefor is qualified to accept qualified charitable distributions (QCD). But you need to be sure to follow the rules.

You must be at least 70 ½. And if you are at least 73, the QCD counts towards your required minimum distribution(RMD) for the year.

The contribution must be made directly from the IRA. Contact the trustee of the IRA to insure it is correctly distributed. If you receive the money it becomes taxable income. It must also be reported correctly on your tax return.

See the link below, and contact the trustee of your IRA.

Please contact PGC’s treasurer to let him know how you want the funds used: Youth Scholarship fund, Building fund, etc.
