Wikipedia or wiki encyclopedia. Wiki is Hawaiian for “quick.” Or quick encyclopedia. Wikis are community repositories of knowledge. And PGC has its very own!
Log into the member’s web page and the first selection in the gray menu bar is “Wiki.” Currently there are two categories, “New members” and “miscellaneous.”
The “New Members” has information for, well, new members, how to sign up for instruction, field duty, and find out about anything else new members need to know. “Miscellaneous” is for anything else, for example; it has instructions for logging into the live web cameras.
Go back to that first paragraph, read “community repository.” The community in this case is the members of PGC. Many members have a lot of knowledge of PGC, but no one has all of the knowledge of PGC. So, have an idea of something that should be in the Wiki? Have knowledge you would like to share?
