A weak cold front which should clear the local area by 0600Z Saturday will stall and backup by 18Z Saturday, dragging a trough tied to the lingering low across the state. A developing low pressure area currently centered ovr Kansas will intensify and move rapidly East bringing moisture and a much increased chance for rain on Sunday.

Consensus on the BL is about 4,000 ft agl (~5,000 msl) which will be enough to give us 2 – 3 kt climbs. Day could develop slowly

Expect Cu by as early as 10:30 AM at about 2,000 ft msl, rising to about 4,500 ft msl by 2:30 PM.
