Synoptics
Following an ugly week with wx controlled by an omega block we should see at least one good soaring day (Saturday) as the low retreats NE and a high pressure ridge builds. Sunday looks likely to be undermined by the westward march of a sprawling frontal system. Should be flyable in parts and at times but bet on Saturday if XC without pain is your goal.
Instability
Saturday BL looks good reaching 6,000 ft by 1300 h local and rising to 6,400 by mid PM. Sunday looks weaker, topping out at 5,000.
Clouds
Saturday should see good cu coverage with only a slight chance of OD. Sunday looks bluish at this point, and Ci could be a factor by mid PM.
Winds
Saturday NW <10 kts surface to 10,000 ft. Saturday wind backs to SW and strengthens a little to ~12 kts.
